This is Heart & Symphony, a news and fan blog created in honor of one of the most beautiful and talented singers in J-pop, Hitomi Shimatani. This blog will feature the latest news on her future releases, as well as a detailed profile and extensive discography on all of her works. I hope you enjoy your stay.

I named the blog after her 5th studio album of the same name, an album that’s just plain awesome. I decided to make a blog dedicated to her because she is one of my favorite artists and performers, and I absolutely love her music. I was introduced to her by listening to her PRIMA ROSA album, which was like a gateway to her other works, and I instantly became a fan in the process.

My name is Lex and this is my 2nd blog here at WordPress, the first one being Beyond the Sea, a J-pop review blog. Hitomi Shimatani is just one of the many artists featured on that blog and I listen to wide range of other J-pop artists. It’s a list too big to type all out right now but I also love Utada Hikaru, Do As Infinity, KOKIA, Ami Suzuki, Mika Nakashima, Koda Kumi, Ayumi Hamasaki, Rie fu, Angela Aki, BONNIE PINK, K, and Ai Otsuka…just to name a few. ;D
